Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge ready to launch finally Samsung has revealed its much awaited Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets. His sets have been launched by the company. A PTI report says the smartphones will be available in India by second week of March. Samsung company has not yet confirmed the pricing of the new S7, S7 edge smartphones, however the phones are up for pre-order in US, Europe and friends here’s the good news for Samsung fans The Samsung is also giving away the Gear VR ( costs $99) headset free to users who pre-order the smartphones in some select parts of the world.The revamped smartphone was revealed at the company’s Unpacked Event ahead of this week’s 2016 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and critics have begun to pour over the specifications. In terms of design, the two handsets undeniably share many design cues not just with each other, but with the outgoing Galaxy S6 models but what has changed is the rear camera with a new technology that the company is calling ‘Dual Pixel.’ Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge ‘Dual Pixel’ helps deliver sharp, and brighter pictures even in low-light, says the company. Additionally the camera has a faster shutter speed, and a more accurate auto-focus, even in low-light conditions. Samsung has also introduced what it called ‘Motion Panorama’ mode, which brings movement to traditional panoramic photos.

The biggest difference is seen on the S7 Edge. While the standard S7 remains a 5.1-inch handset, the S7 jumps up in size to 5.5ins. With that comes the biggest change in terms of overall design too. There are one or two changes though. The sharper, flat back is gone and is instead rounded off to meet the curved edges of the screen. they also says that the new S7 series comes with a Game Launcher, a new add-on feature for gamers, which allows users to manage battery consumption and minimize notifications. Samsung says the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be available starting mid-March 2016.
The new Galaxy S7 series also features Samsung KNOX, fingerprint scanning, Samsung Pay works with NFC (Near Field Communication), and Barcode technology as well.
The Galaxy S7 series has a ‘Dual Pixel’ 12 megapixel rear camera with F1.7 aperture with Smart OIS feature. The front camera is five megapixel with F1.7 aperture. The battery in the Galaxy S7 is 3,000 mAh and supports fast-charging along with wireless charging. Sensors in the Samsung Galaxy S7 are: Accelerometer, Proximity, RGB Light, Geo-magnetic, Gyro, Fingerprint, Barometer, Hall and HRM.
